All-Black Touch Screen?
What is that?
Normally, a touch screen has Outline area, View Area and Action area.
Normally, View Area is the window area of the touch, it is transparent.
With the development of the technology, more and more customers from smart home/ Smart vehicle/ Smart Wearable Devices areas require all black touchscreen. They want the touchscreen/display looks like as a whole. And Sphotoelec developed one All black solution.
So what are the differences between normal touch/display and all black touch/display solutions?
Normal Touch/Display solution is: when the device/LCM is off, you will see the window area clearly. The window area color and the Ink printing area color are different.
All Black Touch/Display solution is: When the device/LCM is off, there is no “window area”. The window area and the ink printing area are the same color. But when the device is “On”, you can see the window area again.
The transmittance of the all black touch screen will be around 20%.
There are several ways to reach such all black.
One, silk printing. Pint semi-transparent ink to the cover of the touchscreen.
Two, Electroplating. Electroplate our own semi-transparent material to the cover.
