Projected capacitive sensor is constructed from a glass or film substrate with an ITO coating that is etched away to leave a grid pattern consisting of X and Y lines. Some other designers use very thin metal filaments(metal mesh or copper or nano-silver) or even graphene which are invisibly to obtain the similar grid pattern.

In one word,

Sensors can be made from Glass substrate, and also Film substrate. 

Conductive material can be ITO, copper, Nano-silver or metal mesh. Normally conductive material is ITO.

Glass sensor, 

DITO=double sided ITO.

SITO=Single sided ITO.
